SOLIDWORKS
Overview:
The SOLIDWORKS training program at AMTEC - Arvind Mehta Technology & Entrepreneurship Centre provides a complete foundation in 3D design, simulation-ready modelling, and professional documentation used across manufacturing, tooling, and product development industries.
SOLIDWORKS is one of the most widely adopted CAD solutions globally, enabling engineers and designers to bring ideas to life via precise 3D models, real-world performance simulations, and integrated product data management.
Through industry-focused training, students will learn to design parts, build assemblies, create detailed drawings, and work with both solid and surface modelling techniques. With expert guidance and real-world case studies, this course develops job-ready skills for careers in product design, tooling, automotive, consumer goods, machinery, and more.

Objectives:
- Introduce students to the SOLIDWORKS environment and essential modeling workflows.
- Build competency in 3D part modeling, surface creation, and feature-driven design.
- Enable students to assemble components and resolve mechanical relationships.
- Prepare learners to generate industry-standard drawings, documentation, and BOMs.
- Equip students with real-world, job-ready skills used throughout a product development lifecycle.
Assessment:
Students’ learning progress will be evaluated through interactive quizzes, hands-on modelling exercises, and a final design project.
Upon successful completion, you will receive an AMTEC Certificate of Completion, recognized by leading organizations in the plastics, tooling, and manufacturing sectors
